Hello!

I thought I would mix things up a little with this post. Recently, I've really been into photography and have since made it my mission to become better with my photography skills. I'm working on a disposable camera project at the moment, but more information on that later.

Documented is a small fraction of my jewellery collection, as it currently stands. As I hope you can tell, there is no running theme, just a small amalgamation of various pieces of jewellery. I have no serious preferences when it comes to jewellery, although I think I like more delicate pieces (but not too much so).

I was recently sent three pieces of jewellery from the Born Pretty Store, as shown in the last three images: a turquoise stone ring and black clover earrings with a matching necklace. The black clover set in particular struck me as being very unique and something you wouldn't tend to find on the high street. If you're looking for good quality, bargain price jewellery, then Born Pretty is definitely for you, only a few pounds are needed to update your jewellery collection, plus with free worldwide delivery and a 10% off discount code (FAT10) exclusive to readers of my blog, it couldn't be easier!

I highly recommend Born Pretty for all your jewellery needs, the prices are genuinely unbeatable, and I guarantee you will be lost for choice with the variety available; definitely something for everyone!

Love from,

Birthday!

Apologies for this post being so picture-heavy, I hope I can balance it out with more text! As is quite evident, it was my birthday on the 22nd December, and I threw a party in heed of it all. The night itself was wonderful, moments you can spend with all of your friends together in one place are truly memorable moments. The venue itself was stunning, full of large, grand chandeliers and vibrant lighting. The food consisted of Indian cuisine, aptly my personal favourite choice of food. Out of all of this, what I enjoyed the most was purely the company of good people. My personal philosophy for a good life consists of four things: good company, good food, good health and good books; but perhaps I'll save all of that for another post.

In theme with the Indian cuisine, I decided to wear, rather obviously, Indian clothing, also for the reason that I cannot express just how much I love South Asian clothing! I have never really worn emerald green in a dress, but the colour itself is lovely, and I would definitely wear the colour again. In the context of Indian clothing, this dress is pretty "simple", if this is the case, then I personally prefer "simple" clothing, as you can then wear lots of pretty jewellery to give the outfit more of a statement look, as desired. The shape and fall of the dress causes it to be very 'swishy', but I actually prefer this 'swishy' fitted dress to many of the tight-fitted evening dresses you find on the market; it's just different, but in more of a subtle way. One of my favourite things about this blog is how I can share with you all the beautiful clothing from my culture! I simply adore the vibrancy and detail in South Asian clothing, and I could honestly go on forever with a list of reasons as to why I love South Asian clothing.

I hope you all have a wonderful 2014, with lots of happiness and success,
Love from,

Miss Iffa
