Blue Jeans

Top - Monsoon
Jeans - Topshop
Shoes - Promod Dubai
Bag - Zara

Hello!

It has been such a long time since I last blogged! I have been a lot more busier than I first thought, what with holidays, results day, my first day of college next week (!) and endless little tasks to complete, I have found less and less time for blogging! Nevertheless, I'm back with a new post and I also have a few more lined up throughout the week!

I wore this outfit for a casual shopping day with some friends, I love the print on the shirt as well as the cut-off arms too, Monsoon are well known for creating clothing inspired by Indian and Pakistani prints and silhouettes, which I totally appreciate. If only the weather was a little cooler, I would have layered this outfit with a few cardigans, scarves etc. This warm weather has meant my usual cardigan clad self has had to shed a layer, which has resulted in me feeling totally out of place! Although I have enjoyed wearing things I normally wouldn't, I for one can not wait for winter so that I can go back to my normal cardigan/scarf routine.

Love from,

Life Lately: August

So far, my summer has been a mish-mash of all number of things, as you can probably tell from these pictures. I have recently become obsessed with Arabic calligraphy; one day I just decided to pick up a paint brush and give it a go, the results weren't as bad as I imagined them to be! I love painting, I find it very therapeutic, and after completing one calligraphy piece you feel a great sense of achievement!

I also simply must mention the falafel and halloumi wrap which you can see in one of the pictures, the dish is from Home Sweet Home cafe in Manchester, and it is probably one of the most delicious cafes, with a wide variety of tasty dishes to choose from.

Some recent purchases include some very exciting items from Cartier, which you will probably see more of later on my blog! Also, I was sent this beautiful star bracelet from Street Princess, I love how delicate and dainty it is, and the statement colour combination of black and gold means it can pretty much go with everything!

I hope you are all having a pleasant summer so far, expect more from me (with a Dubai photo diary) soon!

Love from,

Miss Iffa
