Hello!
I was really excited about posting this outfit on my blog, it's a mixture of eastern and western clothing, and I haven't done anything like since way back in the early days of my blog. I really love the fashion from my culture, so I embrace Indian and Pakistani clothing with open arms! I decided to mix it up a little by adding a classic brown coat and skinny jeans, giving the outfit a more modern touch. I just adore the floatiness of the kaftan dress, and the embroidery is really like nothing out there.
It's been a while since I last posted, unfortunately this is because of exams! I have exams coming up in May, and hence I will be finding it difficult to blog as frequently. Do not fret, however, as I hope I can continue to blog in a somewhat regular pattern. I am also planning on holding a blog sale and making more YouTube videos in the coming weeks, so watch this space!
Love from,
Miss Iffa

ReplyDeleteI love this! One of my favourite dresses (I've worn it before on my blog) was one my dad brought back from Pakistan. Are you doing the poetry anthology for GCSE with the poem about the salwar kameez in there? This post reminds me of that.

You're truly making the very best out of your diverse heritage! :) I, too, love Indian/Eastern style, too! This tunic is a piece I, too, have been searching for for a long time... It caught my eyes at the very first sight.. But then I saw your cute shoes, and they're - I have to admit - my favourite part of your outfit! They're adorable!
