Studs and Hearts

Jumper - Glamorous at Thunderegg (scroll to the bottom)
Trousers - Topshop
Ballet Flats - Topshop
'F' Signet ring - Urban Outfitters

I'm sorry this post will be a little rushed! I'm going on a luxurious holiday to Dubai today, and won't be back for over a week; I will try to post whilst I'm there but it may be a little infrequent. Nevertheless, I will plan out a photo diary for sure when I'm back!

My most recent purchase was this charcoal grey jumper with studded detailing at the shoulders. It was one of those wise impulse buys which is a rarity for me; I can imaging wearing this sweater from day to night with a little help from the right accessories. Another recent purchase was this 'F' signet ring from Urban Outfitters, it came with a pretty hefty price tag for a ring, (£8) but I love it! Lately I've been really into jewellery with a chosen letter on it; it makes the piece more personal and more special too. Printed trousers are perfect for adding a finishing touch to any outfit, I picked up these heart-print ones from Topshop and I cannot stress just how versatile they are! I can wear them with anything from a tie-dye shirt to a plain white t-shirt.

Hope you're all having a good holiday and I'll see you soon!

Tips for Finding Bargains When Shopping Online

We all love a bargain: after all, who doesn’t get a thrill when you discover that the pair of shoes you have been coveting for weeks is suddenly available at a knock-down price? Of course the advent of online shopping has made shopping for bargains a lot easier than it once was. In previous decades, shopping for bargains meant endless hours traipsing around the local stores or haggling with traders to secure a better price, but with the aid of a computer or web enabled phone, plus an internet connection, we can look for bargains online and pay for them with credit cards instead!

Snakes

Shirt - Zara
Trousers - Topshop
Scarf - Burberry
Shoes - Isabel Marant
Bag - Topshop
Cuff & Necklace - Forever 21
Bracelet - Spanish markets
Watch - Rolex

Recently I have developed an affinity for high-tops; the versatility of the shoe is clearly visible: you could wear a pair of high-tops with just about anything that comes to mind and it's for that very reason that I love them. I've been eyeing up these Jimmy Choos high-tops and these Christian Louboutin ones, I think it won't be long till I start my own collection of high-tops soon!

I am also fond of the idea of dressing up a casual garment, ie: a simple cotton shirt. I love the khaki green colour of this cotton shirt I picked up at Zara; the asymmetrical dip at the back of the shirt adds a sophisticated element to the outfit. A Forever 21 branch recently opened in my local shopping centre, and I was lucky enough to be there on the opening day. If you're looking for some jewellery at a reasonable price, I would recommend you look around Forever 21 and there seemingly never-ending collection of jewellery!

Hope you're all enjoying your holidays, and Eid Mubarak!

As promised, I've collaborated with Sarah of Nifty Thrifts and Anna of Now You've Met the London Boys for a another collaborative outfit post! I thoroughly enjoyed shooting this post (which Anna was so kind enough to photograph) and the beautiful weather made it the perfect summer's day. We started the day with a lovely brunch at our local ice-cream parlour, Scoops; before picking up some ingredients for our later baking session. After a quick shop around, we wasted no time in whisking up the most delicious chocolate brownies I have ever tasted! We added lots of glitter to the brownie mix, to ensure a glittering result as well as piling on generous dollops of Nutella and chocolate buttons.

Ever since I purchased I bought this black mesh sweater from Topshop, I haven't taken it off! (not literally) I can just slip it on over any old shirt and my whole outfit instantly looks more edgy; pretty great in my opinion!  For this outfit I layered my mesh sweater over a collared blouse just to give my outfit a sophisticated vibe; an easy yet coveted wardrobe trait. I added the bowler hat just for a little bit of fun; Sarah is a self-confessed bowler hat fan, so I think I will be handing over my hat to her. I am head over heels for Sarah's outfit! I adore her Pink Floyd shirt and statement piece checked skirt (she stresses that it is not a kilt) The glasses give her outfit a fabulous retro vibe; I'm super jealous of her headband, (which she got for £2.50 - bargain!) it reminds me of something Tavi Gevinson or Lana Del Rey would wear.

I'm looking forward to going on a picnic with Anna and Sarah next week; fingers crosses the weather will be good! I am also excited to show you my latest YouTube video! I am so excited to finally finding the time to film more videos for YouTube so do subscribe to stay tuned to my upcoming videos. (I suggest you watch the video below till the end if you want a laugh).

Poised

Maxi dress - Topshop
Cardigan - H&M
Leggings - M&S
Shoes - Topshop
Backpack - Topshop

Hello lovelies!

My most recent purchase has been this khaki green maxi dress from Topshop. Maxi dresses are super comfy and perfect to lounge around in. I actually have a couple of maxi dresses lying around in my wardrobe, but a lot of them are more specifically for evening wear and I haven't come across a formal occasion just yet. (someone please throw a dinner party!) It then struck me that instead of letting my maxi dresses wither away in my wardrobe, I should dress them down and wear them while I can. So thus came this outfit post! An attempt to wear a maxi dress in a casual, yet classy manner. What do you think?

I'm really happy to introduce my best friend and blogger Sarah of Nifty Thrifts to my blog! We collaborated together for this post, and it's been the best blogger experience I've had so far! It's pleasure and honour to have a snippet of Sarah's wonderful style on my blog. Anna of Now You've Met the London Boys was kind enough to take the pictures for his shoot, and feature as our ghost of the haunted mansion!

I had a magnificent time with my best friends Anna and Sarah on Tuesday; we went into central Manchester for a spot of shopping and a good chat. We went to lots of vintage shops such as The Thriftettes and Oh Hell Clothing, from which I purchased new tie-dye pieces for my wardrobe. We visited one of my favourite book stores: Magma, and stocked up on magazines such as Lula and Purple Fashion. We popped into numerous little cafés for a quick snack and a toilet break; my favourite café was by far the Oklahoma Café. Stacked to the brim with miscellaneous books, the Oklahoma Café is a salad mix of elements from childhood and adulthood mixed toether to create a wonderful concoction of creative things. For example, dotted around the café were sketchbooks and Crayola crayons for visitors to doodle and draw in; the toilet had a chalkboard hanging on the wall, just in case you wanted to leave a little message for the next user. At Oklahoma I tried my first ever Curiosity Cola, if you're one of the many who have yet to try this drink, I highly recommend you pop into your local café to try a bottle!

After a perfect day of shopping, eating and talking, we all headed over to the location for our shoot. The mansion you see in the background is, as rumour has it, haunted! After seeing the place for ourselves, we can all confirm that by the looks of it, it certainly is haunted! During the shoot, it was raining heavily, so please do excuse any frizzy curly hair or blurry photos! I'm in love with my latest purchase: a vintage camouflage jacket; albeit the jacket is huge, it was a sure bargain! Sarah gave me the fabulous idea to stud the shoulders of the jacket and use some iron on labels for the back, something which I will definitely try out once I've stocked up on supplies. (Sarah's really brilliant with all this customising stuff!)

I had a lovely time, and it was nice to take a break from the high street for some vintage gems. I can't wit to do another collaborative post like this again soon in the near future. Do take a look at and follow Sarah and Anna's blogs, you won't be disappointed at all!
